I chose this Hotel s Burj Suite as I was travelling with my family for a six day trip to Dubai. The check in was effortless with a welcome drink and cooperative staff.
The suite itself was even better than the pictures of it I had seen when booking. The bedrooms were spacious for a King stay and the bathroom were big, with all toiletries stacked well. The hall was very spacious with dining area segregated with a sittig place for four and a kitchen platform with an electric Tea kettle and a coffe maker. Room service was very good but vegetarian choices were limited, however whatever ordered was delicious and professionally delivered in the room timely and with a smile.
The housekeeping service was amazing with Mr Dipak of Housekeeping who was from Punjab, India- doing an excellent job everyday. There was no problem in getting adequate water bottles as is the case with some luxurious hotels in Dubai. A problematic fitting in bathroom was immediately fixed. So was light switch problem.
The laundry service was good.
The breakfast that came with the suite at the 19th floor restaurant Kris-with-a-view was very good with many choices of fruits, fruit juices and Indian snacks like Dosa, Idli, Vada , with S mbhar and chutneys , pickles somedays paratha subji, vermicelli etc. combined with bread assortments , milk and Indian masala tea and of course coffee. The buffet breakfast also had many non veg items but being a vegetarian I did not partake any of them but the photos uploaded by me show all the items.
The hotel is surrounded on both sides by Indian restaurants, food joints within 50 meters. So if you like Indian dishes just order on phone and it will be delivered to the Hotel s reception lounge where you have to pick it up after payment or you can walk down and eat there.
Walking distance from Bur Juman metro station makes it easy for Metro travelling. Cabs can be hailed right out of the main door being on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed road.
The rooftop pool, the Marhaba lounge at Ground floor were very good.
To sum up , a truly five star hotel . I will be back there often.
