Refer a friend and help her book the ride. She got $7 off on her ride and I received an email the same day that my referral was successful and I should be receiving the $7 off promo code within two days. After a week, didn't receive any promo code and I called customer service. The guy asked his manager who apparently told him that she is sending the email to me. I waited on the phone with him for 5 minutes and didn't receive any email. He was embarrassed and asked his manager again and then told me that she processed it but have no idea how long will it take for me to receive it. After a day passed, I called again and says I haven't received any email and after the 15-minute wait, the customer service says that my purchase was flagged because MAYBE I and my friend were using the same computer at that time and he cannot do anything. I asked him if I can speak to a supervisor and he says the supervisor won't talk to me because certainly he is ASHAMED and can't come up with another excuse.
They don't have any courtesy to let the customer know about this until they call them themselves. I don't understand if my referral was flagged why
1. I received the email the same day that my referral was successful.
2. Customer service says that they are sending the promo code email again
Just because my friend was using my computer they made the conclusion that it's flagged. She was using her own email address, her own credit card, and her own cell phone number. Whoever is the product owner of this product certainly didn't think of all the use case when designing the flagged system algorithm. Definitely not referring to any other friend
