Unethical phone call with the Client Relations Ser...

Unethical phone call with the Client Relations Service. They kept me on hold for 30 minutes in what was described on their website as a "free consultation" only to tell me they wouldn't be able to comment as to whether they could help with my case or not without my financial information (they wanted to know how much cash I had saved in my bank). I explained I was comfortable with their fees and happy to share detailed financial information if I were to proceed them, and gave them a flavour of my finances - yet they still couldn't tell me whether it was case they could assist with? The next firm I spoke with said it's unethical of them to ask for financial information before saying whether they could assist with a case. It's also been a huge waste of time, they could have explained their policy within the first 10 seconds of the call rather than keep me on hold for half an hour. No other firm I spoke to this morning had any problem in giving swift feedback as to whether they could assist with my case or not.
