Terrible customer service for such a large, well known company. I bought a new engine 2 years and 5 weeks ago for my '00 Ranger and it wont be looked at because it is 5 weeks out of warranty. I spent over $6,000 and barely got 25k miles on that engine. When I talked to the dealership (great and knowledgeable people I should say), they said I would have to call corporate to see about getting the warranty looked into. When I called corporate they told me I would have to talk to the dealership and they refused to let me talk to anyone higher up than their base employee. I was told at the dealership that because the vehicle is older than 10 years that it's not profitable or something. I don't pay in Monopoly money because I have an old car! No concern for keeping customers from what I have experienced. The dealership at the end of the experience suggested that the diagnosis we received elsewhere didn't sound right and we might have a cheaper fix (still several hundred dollars). I am grateful that the dealership is at least trying to do what they can instead of childishly pointing fingers and steadfastly refusing to compromise in any way.
