One of the best hotel stays of my life! From arrival, Top (the manager) greeted us in the lounge in the 25th floor with welcome drinks and checked us in early!

We booked a SoSpaSuite on the 11th floor. The stay included a 90 minute spa treatment. They put us into the one room in the hotel with an in-room spa bed in addition to the actual bed and an outdoor two person bathtub overlooking Lumpini park. Top took us down to our room and showed us around. It was big modern and tastefully appointed with a free mini bar and just about every gadget you could want.

After settling in we had a work out in the gym on the tenth floor and a dip in the beautiful selfie-worthy infinity pool. The facilities are top-notch.

Top invited us back up for afternoon tea in the lounge and to evening drinks. When we returned we were met by Sommai (uncertain of spelling). She's very professional, friendly and interesting with a Belgian and Thai heritage. She was incredibly welcoming and updated us on the facilities we had our disposal. She offered us tea and invited us to the lounge buffet in the early afternoon before our Spa treatment.

After our snack at the lounge we went to the So/Spa on the same floor as our room. It was faultless. I opted for the aromatherapy massage. It was mind-blowing. 90 minutes of heaven with essential oils and the most competent massage I've ever had. Highly recommend a Spa treatment at So/Spa.

After our treatment we went back up to the club on the 25th floor for evening drinks. Pro Tip: Sommai missed her calling as a bartender! She made some of the most balanced drinks cocktails that I've ever tasted. She was great fun and very professional as a host. This place was loads of fun and the buffet is stocked with tons of delicious goodies, should you feel peckish. Originally, the plan was to head out of the hotel for dinner, but the buffet and drinks were so good, we just chilled out at the hotel...

We retired back to the room and snacked a bit more on the complimentary sweets that they left for us in the turn-down service. We spent the evening overlooking Lumpini park while soaking in the outdoor bath. It was perfect!!!

In the morning we woke up to a beautiful sunrise and a charcoal bubble bath on the balcony in our room. Pretty magical!

After morning bubble bath we had a ridiculously delicious buffet breakfast at the Red-oven. I'm a pancake freak and they nailed it. Everything about the experience was premium!

After breakfast we wanted to work off some if the pancakes so we went for a pedal around Lumpini park on the hotel's complimentary bikes. It was a great way to spend the morning in the city.

Check out was quick and the staff were lovely inviting us to lounge around at our convenience and to us the facilities until we were ready to go.

We didn't want to leave! In the land of smiles these were the best ones. I highly recommend that you take an excursion here at So/Bangkok. I will make this a recurring ritual in the future!
