So the biggest, absolutely worst part about the room we stayed in (Stable Mews) is that there was no WiFi. Even the cheapest, most run down places have WiFi now a days. I couldn't check my work emails, I couldn't read the news, see what the weather was going to do, Google things to do in the area or look up directions to get anywhere. I couldn't even send the people I was with money for things they'd paid for. I ran out of mobile data on the 2nd day so I was stuck having to go to the lobby to use the WiFi there. It's absolutely ridiculous that the accomodation wouldn't have WiFi in 2018. Loads of other people must have felt the same because it was often packed with people on phones and laptops. It's massively inconvienient especially when I was waiting for important work emails.

There were several other problems as well; the sofa bed was ridiculously uncomfortable and the bed in the main bedroom was harder than a slab of concrete. You could pretty much hear the conversations of the people above us, and their footsteps were very loud while we were trying to sleep.

Before getting there we were told we would have free use of the mini-golf, tables tennis, pitch and putt and tennis courts. In the information they provided in the accomodation it also said it would be free, but when we went to reception we were told it all costs money, even though we were staying there. The one free thing was the pool, which was literally just a pool. No floats, flumes, balls etc. It was also the coldest pool I've ever been in. I don't think it could have been heated at all.

On top of all that, the price you pay doesn't include electricity or water. You actually have to pay for that at the end of your trip, which I understand for the people who have timeshares there, but we don't, we were using it as any other self-catered accommodation.

There is also only one car parking space for each accommodation, not good for people like us who went in two cars.

Overall, the view was nice and the food we had in the bar was alright and an okay price but so many small issues just built up to make an overall poor experience. I would never stay there again. I grantee you can find better equipped hotels for the same price or cheaper, and they would at least have WiFi in the rooms.
