it felt like the service writer was not on my side. Are you trying to help me or get money out of me?
Their system is screwed. Dont you ask the customer when and how often something happens? When did it start? What did I notice? Were there repairs done before? If so, which ones? These are questions that technicians ask their customer in order to be able to give them the best possible solution. To make it easier for the tech to choose the path to a succesful troubleshooting process. Thats what I taught anyway in my 10 year experience as an automotive and truck mechanic.
