Bizarrely bad service! My wife and I regularly visit Ikea in Utrecht, because this is a great store in terms of products. Today we visited again for a new wardrobe. So we (and that was all fine) put together a cupboard with the computers that were there before. We had only chosen a set of sliding doors that we could not add in the computer, but hey there was another set that we also liked, so we chose that one. So we printed the list and it stated that all products were in stock and also where they should be. With this list we went to the warehouse to collect all the stuff, but unfortunately we ran into empty shelves for this PAX cupboard (position 48 box 10 + 11). So far not an unpleasant experience, because it is a busy store so it is understandable that sometimes something is gone. That is why we went to an employee, a young lady, who told us again where it should and could be located, but unfortunately we were really at the right subjects and it was not there, while the employee also said it should be there . For this reason we went to another employee, who literally said nothing more and nothing less than: I sent other people to Amersfoort. He did not even check whether it was in stock there, etc. and he went right back to work! This of course made no sense at all! So we decided to look online to see if the stuff is there in Amersfoort, but unfortunately: Not in stock. So those other people probably went to Amersfoort for nothing! Then there is the fact that it says online that all products should be in Vestging Utrecht, but when we (angry about the poor service of the employees) were back home and put everything in the shopping cart stock) and pressed order, only then did the website indicate that the basic element for this cabinet is not there. Then you only have the following options: 1. Have everything delivered to your home, but that costs 40 euros for our package. 2. Visit 2 different shops to get the stuff. 3. Drive far away to collect everything at once. So this really makes no sense at all. If you order online and want to pick it up yourself, you will also be charged a fee of 3. And if we still decide to want this cupboard at all, we also have to drive back and forth again, which I would have found no problem if we had been helped normally.
