The overall experience was disappointing. Good communication until the contract signing and then onwards needed lot to f prompts to get things done. Installation team was a third party and they didn t have any commitment to the actual company the consumer dealing with (Captain Green Solar). Got a Fronius inverter, the installation team refused to setup online access for the consumer, quoting that s not their job.
A Fronius smart meter was purchased separate and the installer agreed to include it in the installation for additional $120, the same got installed but not properly. Because I didn t get any help in setting up the internet access for the inverter the mistake wasn t understood until later. The entire load of the house need to pass through the new smart meter in order to calculate the consumption. Instead of this the Electretion only connected one out of the four lines, which later fixed by another Electretion for $100.
Agreed to send us a $100 eftpos card on completion of the installation which still not arrived despite few reminders.
Asked the case manager to send the original completion certificate in the mail many weeks ago, the same still not arrived. Today marks a month from the installation and so far not a single person from the company contacted us regarding the installation or the performance of the system.

This makes the whole experience a disappointing one.
Six of my friends planning to install solar on their roof now and asked me about the company I chose, unfortunately I don t recommend Captain Green Solar to them or anybody else. I feel sorry for the other four friends of mine who signed up with me with this company.
