Dr. Patel is a good doctor, but his front office staff/operation need serious improvement. Because of this, unfortunately I'm switching practices for these three reasons. I'm writing this in hopes of Dr. Patel making some changes for the sake of others.

1.) COVID safety. I did not feel safe during check in. Counted 12 adults and 4 kids all standing in a small waiting room. I only felt comfortable waiting in the building lobby area (outside of the practice). They handed me an iPad to sign in with, did not look to be sanitized, and confirmed that be seeing the same iPad being given to the next patient in line (no attempt to wipe it down). Need to do better on wait times...with no chairs in the lobby, why not have folks wait in their cars?

2.) They have refused to waive my $25 "no show fee" for not coming to the office in April this year, at the height of the lock-down. They said we called you and you never got back to us, which I dispute. I never set this appt. in the first place, it was "auto set" based on a recommended Dr. follow-up. Recently, they have a text appt. reminder system that is a lot better.

3.) Front staff were rude and dressed inappropriately. When I asked to speak to the manager, the front office staff went to get her and then came back to say she can't speak to me. I have a friend to confirm the same, his experience, front office staff needs customer service training. Them seem miserable generally. Honestly felt better service at the DMV.
