TL;DR: Do not buy pre-owned cars from Toyota Sunny...
TL;DR: Do not buy pre-owned cars from Toyota Sunnyvale, they sell garbage cars and you could be in for thousands in immediate repair needs. Long version: I purchased a car from Toyota Sunnyvale's pre-owned inventory. I chose Toyota Sunnyvale hoping for a thoroughly inspected car, and expected to drive away with a healthy vehicle. I took it to an auto mechanic after I got home and discovered it needed $2400.00 worth of repairs- the ticket price of the car was $8.7k. There were a couple things that must have been noted on their vaunted pre-owned car inspection, especially the spark plug tube seal leaks, leaking water pump, and severely cracked drive belt (it really shouldn't have been driven). What really drove the knife in, though, was that although they agreed to cover the water pump repair at my local mechanic (I live 300+ miles away) through my limited power train warranty, they reneged on a verbal agreement with my mechanic to cover the total cost of the repair less my deductible. This was an unambiguous communication with my mechanic; he asked twice to make sure that they actually agreed to cover the cost of the repairs. When I heard that, I was far more satisfied with their service and would have left a much better review here. Today, though (6/14/17), when the mechanic called to confirm payment, they changed their story. They might have been careless when they agreed to pay the entire invoice, and never really intended to, as not everything was covered under the warranty, but I was pretty heartbroken when I found out and am now thoroughly disgusted with the whole transaction. I paid market price for the car (within $400 of KBB value)- but that price is based on a car that has only minor cosmetic damage, not major mechanical issues. If Toyota Sunnyvale is willing to make this right with me somehow, I'm happy to revise my review. As it stands, I feel like I got swindled by a major car dealership.
