I have a problem that needs immediate attention, but cannot get a person on the phone or to call me back going on for three days and counting. When the company transferred my loan to another service company, they did not transfer the insurance under the escrow. This has transpired multiple problems for me that I cannot write in a quick review. It can easily be resolved if someone will actually answer the phone or return my phone calls.

I want to add that this is not the first major issue I've had with them. Last year when it was time to file taxes, I discovered the company had not been paying the taxes on my house. The problem was resolved, but it delayed my filing taxes.

If I don't get a response today, I will file a report with the Federal Trade Commission which will force an answer within a certain time frame and with an accurate response. Another option is to report discrepancies to the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. It is difficult to move a loan from a service company, but it can be done. With the interest rates so low now, it may not make much difference in how much you pay out by refinancing and going with a savings and loan or credit union. They don't sell their loans. With my current situation, I may be paying about $175 more a month for my home insurance on account of a mistake they made so for me the change would be worth it. Every case is different.
