My patient passed 2 days ago in her home, and the nurses they sent out to take care of her where horrible. I understand the process of hospice but I absolutely do not agree with their method. They did not make her comfortable but incompetent and incoherent. And when the nurse came to pronounce her dead, as she was getting all the paperwork together she walks out the door and turns around with a room full of crying people. Thank u for using houston hospice!! Totally a inappropriate moment, lack of compassion for the mourning family. I will never recommend them to anyone. And this is just a short summary, there is alot more to say that is not good.
