In the evening I Made my first visit to get a replacement or fix my key sensor issue for my new car that was only 8 months old with a fresh warranty and just hit 7,500 miles. I followed the advisors instructions and my key still did not work and it took me 1min. to turn my car off later that week.
I called to described my issue before making another trip. I was jerked around on the phone and when I finally did get someone I was told their key specialists only work days not evenings meaning I was ill advised the first visit wasting my time and money I shouldn't I have spent considering it came from the factory broken. The people on the phone promised they would work things out but I have yet to hear from them in the past 24hrs. I will not buy another Ford simply cause of post purchase experiences. I have owned various brands and Ford is the only one that gives me grief after purchasing the vehicle when I need a warranty or service issue resolved. All this trouble over a simple key which is still broken. Glad my issue isn't major.
