Effectively functioning. But when it comes to hearing the problems of the land owners they are vague. Happened to meet one RTI initiator from a church where Vellara junction station is proposed. The congregation appears to be at the receiving end. They have already lost nearly two acres to the water board where a huge water tank is built. Now BMRCL is pestering for parting with one acre permanently for constructing underground station which the members of congregation has agreed to part with.
But another acre of land they are asking for dumping ground temporarily for five years which will consume most of the open area and block both the entrances and the parking area. The church congregation is reasonable in requesting to acquire bare minimum land but BMRCL appellate panel members were advising the person against going through RTI ACT and not to approach the CM or any other politician. Sounding strange.
