We moved in our new house in march 2015.

We moved in our new house in march 2015.
1. In June we had leak in the window in the kitchen and found later that they didnt make any weeping holes in the windowpane and all the water rushed in the wall and we had roof leaking in a two month old house. They pulled one window pane in the bedroom from where the water entered into the wall to show me that their was no water damage in the wall. I asked to show me the inside of the wall in the kitchen as we had the window paint coming out of there and the Jayman service guy tells me that he is already spending money on the new window pane for upstairs and he would keep going on spending money on new window panes for my satisfaction. He was talking to us like we did something wrong when we wanted to make sure that we dont have mould in our new house because of water damage. Aside from the fact that their guys didnt do their job and we had a leak in a new house.
2 Window frame paint came out from a lot of windows. They brought the guys and fixed it later. Kitchen window paint is still not good enough and you can see it has been repainted. This is because they didnt use a brand new window siding in the kitchen and put the old one back ON and repainted it which didnt work right.
3 The dishwasher stopped working and wouldn't drain because of the wrong installation of the plumbing. Guy from appliance company came and said it was plumbing design issue and the drain pipe went into the basement and then came up into the drain cause gravity issues and the water wouldnt drain. They finally put the drain pipe in the drain after making holes into out kitchen cabinets. Now we have dishwasher drain pipe going to the drain through our kitchen cabinet.
4. we had insulation vapor barrier not installed and had water running down through the walls in the basement. It was fixed after 3 weeks and I had to take a day off from work just to show it to them.
5. They did not install the exhaust in our basement washroom when we already paid extra for washroom rough-ins in the basement and its still pending and we were told to call them when we get the basement developed and they will do it at that time.
6. The locks in each room would get stuck and wouldn't open sometimes and you would have to manhandle them to open. Our 2 and a 1/2 year old son got locked in the room because of that once. So they replaced them after request. Thank you JAYMAN.
7. We have the jayman standing shower and the tub in the On Suite washroom. The water from the shower door drips down on the floor as soon as you open the shower door because the door is angled wrong and is declined to the outer edge where as it should be inclined to the inner edge so that the water goes inside the washroom. I told Jayman warranty guy about the wrong installation and even showed it to him and they said that this is how these doors are. I told him I have seen other doors and they dont angle downwards to the outside of the washroom. He said I chose the wrong door in the design room and all these doors are angled like this. So here is the question for JAYMAN, why would you not tell me in the design center that these doors are bad design. They never fixed the shower door cause it needs to be pulled put the installed/replaced properly.
8. The microwave would turn ON, on its own, however that turned out to be the issue in the microwave. They replaced it later
SO THE ADVICE IS "MAKE BETTER HOMES AND PROVIDE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOLLOW UP CUSTOMER ISSUES"
