These pre-prepared categories do not allow for a proper evaluation of the visit. Because of the location of the kitchen the food on both Monday and Tuesday nights was only lukewarm for three out of the four meals ordered. The inability to find the wines that we ordered is slightly understandable due to re-organization but we should have been told this before we drove 1200 kilometres to have these specific bottles. This was redeemed a little by the manager's apology on the Tuesday but the fact that the meals were again mostly cold negated much of that. Hearing the next room's shower first thing in the morning was not my idea of good accommodation nor was the fact that my wife had to leave the shower to reach the taps to adjust temperature and flow nor was the lack of both a clock and a phone. But the thing that worried me a bit was the lack of a front bar for the people of the town. Surely Australia has not become so elitist that the only pub in town excludes the people of that town.
