I found a young pigeon who had its wing badly torn by what seems to have been a cat. I panicked and thought to myself that I couldn't afford a vet visit, especially an aviary one, not to mention it wasn't my pet. I went online in search of an organization that delt with these situations. Luckily, I found this place. I gave them a call and left a message. It took no more than 20 minutes to get a call back. The lady whom I spoke with assured me to bring in the pigeon and in fact thanked me for saving the bird! It is me who thanks them for their work and their dedication to save wildlife. They are a nonprofit organization that runs on donations. I have always admired people who work for animals because of their passion and these people are in fact passionate about what they do. I would give them 10 stars, not 5. Gob bless this organization and its staff.
