The Atlanta Botanical Garden is made up of several small themed gardens. Each of them contains different landscapes to display a variety of plants. At the entrance there are formal gardens, such as a Japanese garden and a rose garden. Two wooded areas, 5 acres (20,000 m 2) Upper forest terrain and 10 acres (40 000 m 2) Storza Woods have large trees and shade-loving flowers and undergrowth. Fancy sculptures, fountains and interpretive exhibits on botany, ecology and nutrition are presented in the Kindergarten.
