This VA is awfully undermanned. Although I am already in the VA system, one has to go through a tedious process to register locally. It took me days to get some answers and finally the issue was only resolved by going in person.
Calling the individual departments is utterly useless. An automated recording states that one can leave a message and get a call back. I left around five messages and never got a call or message back. Compared with other VA facilities I have interacted with, this VA's customer service is far below what should be acceptable. It's shameful that this is what we have in our nation's capital.
