I stayed there as a teenager and I can confirm that helping people is the last thing these "professionals" want to do. They hardly ever talked to us about our problems and they were extremely condescending in their forms of treatment. They treated us as if we had the mentalities of toddlers instead of adolescents with deep seeded issues. They also forced Christian propaganda down our throats regardless of whether or not we were actually religious. Non Christians were not allowed to leave the main area when preachers would come and take advantage of vulnerably suicidal teenagers. They literally told us that we were sick because we didn't believe in god. It was basically, "we don't care about you as an individual. We want you to fit in a mold and have the same imaginary friend as us." Don't send your children here unless you want them to feel worthless and more suicidal than they were before.
