The service team was not helpful at all. My 2015 CRV has a 3 yr 36k mile warranty. My family took it on a 5k mile road trip and a 12V outlet failed. The fuses are not bad. The other outlet works. We got back within the date of warranty but 2k miles over, due to not being able to see a dealer on the trip. The rep said it would be difficult but not impossible to work it in as a warranty claim in the start of the conversation. Then when he heard I got it from another dealership, his tune immediately changed to helping under the tranferrable factory warranty is impossible. Instead I have to pay $120 to diagnose plus any fees and repaira if Honda 99.9% likely wouldn't approve the dealer warranty submittal. This is why people don't trust dealerships and stick with a reputable local mechanic. Last time I go there for anything other than a recall or a OEM part.
