There is always a line, and the folks behind the counter, although nice, are confused by anything more complicated than, "I need to buy a stamp."

And I really hope you don't need to get ahold of them by phone. If they do answer, odds are good you'll be put "on hold" (the phone is just placed on the counter) while they help the 7 people in line in the store before coming back to you.
