Negative stars on Saturday evening encountered a reckless limo driver refused to move when indicated to him how he was blocking view of stop sign, making it appear to drivers unfamiliar with area they had the right of way at busy intersection on game night near the United Center. This WCL driver pulled up in marked no parking area , his enormous limo bus illegally blocking busy intersection s only westbound stop sign in a construction zone. He recklessly endangered N/S bound drivers and pedestrians leaving park. And not just briefly did he endanger people the large wedding party was at the park a considerable time having their pictures done.

We indicated the hazard created by situating bus obstructing stop sign and suggested he merely move 30 feet back or turn corner and park there where there was ample safe parking.

At first he listened, seemed to understand problem and danger he was creating and agreed to move. Then he shut the window, changed his mind and sat like stone,went deaf, ignored repeated pleas and explanations, staring forward, refusing to interact.

Not only did he ignore me, my husband and ex CPD neighbor, he also ignored his own dispatcher who was trying to reach him after we called four times, desperate to get him to move as traffic was increasing. . I called to driver finally twenty min later that his dispatch was STILL trying to reach him; then he decided to answer them.

He spoke to them and dispatch related to us that he denied parking illegally or creating any hazard, there were no issues - totally lying,denying danger he was creating for cars approaching Adams and Peoria, despite his knowing we documented incident.

There were several nightmare reviews of a drivers similar behavior on Yelp terrible messes for several clients.

The lying and stubborn reckless endangerment notwithstanding can you imagine having a limo driver for your big event who doesn t answer his dispatcher?

You could need to contact limo, make a change or need desperately to reach limo with a change etc and he might very well just ignore that call too. That could screw up your event terribly, glaring communication errors a common theme noted in many negative WCL reviews.

And then he d just sit there and bold face lie like he did in this situation.

This whole situation and dispatchers response a dangerous mess for no reason.
Thank God nobody bought the farm at that intersection, sheer luck believe me.

Totally reckless liar who shouldn t be driving a Hover-round much less having responsibility for clients and citizens safety.

You d be better off having your Grandma drive you anywhere.
