My husband and I, along with some friends, went to see "Dream Deferred: Detroit, 1967," yesterday. It is a wonderful play with wonderful acting. We are not originally from Michigan and did not live in the area in 1967. We learned some things we did not know. The play coupled with the exhibit at the Detroit Historical Museum are great educational experiences. This was my second time seeing a play at the Matrix (my husband's first). It is a small, intimate theater. Because it is small, there are no "bad" seats. We will be sure to go back.
