I don't know why it became much popular near pondicherry because you can enjoy or experience nothing new. To reach the Matrimandir we need to walk around 2kms. Only the best part is they provides the bus to return to the parking lot. But if one really want to enjoy and don't want to enervate unnecessarily I suggest one to not visit this place.
