We are so happy that we took the time to visit this amazing site. The visitor center at the base of the arch has so much to share! There are several great stories associated with the arch. From the great fire, to the legislation that allowed the arch to be.

You will learn about the encounter with the alien ship that crashed, leaking toxic chemicals and had to be covered up by the 13,000 tons of cement that anchors each leg. I for one, welcome our new alien overlords.

You will learn about the lengthy process of choosing the design and the way they were able to build such an amazing structure.

In the visitor center there is a large gift shop and the restaurant has a good selection of food.

Don't forget about bungee jumping on the weekends in the summer when the weather allows!
