Did you know that Kiwis eggs are the biggest ones compared to their mother birds and Austriche eggs the smallest? Did you know that Kiwis have the smallest beak of all birds according to the definition (because beak size is measured as the distance between the nostrils and the tip of the beak)? All of this information and much more, you can learn during the amazing talks at Wellington Zoo. I especially recommend the sun bear talk at 2pm and the Kiwi talk 2.30pm. The sun bear Sasa is a rather lazy one, but the animal keeper will get her attention so that you can have a look at this beautiful creature. I also admired the Capybaras, unfortunately there were no talk about those.
