Selfridges is not for the hard-up. Don't get me wrong. I think it's better than Harrods. And it's a lot easier to move around. It's also a lot more friendly, and the staff are really good at looking after you. Just bring a lot of cash. Or do as I do and pop in whenever you're passing and pretend. The food hall is great. Bond Street is just around the corner. Everything is close at hand. Except the chocolates. Someone moved them to the basement!! (What were you thinking guys?).
