My sister is in the ER right now as I m typing this. She has chest pain, and a blood pressure of 188/109. She has been left to sit in the waiting room for 1 and 1/2 hours now. I called the Nursing Supervisor 30 minutes ago, and my sister is still sitting there. No blood work has been drawn, no meds given. With chest pain and hypertensive emergency. I m just praying she doesn t have a stroke or massive heart attack. This is not how chest pain and malignant hypertension are treated in a normal hospital. This place is dysfunctional and dangerous!
