Angelica Hoppe Review of Banner Good Samaritan

I was there a few years ago while on vacation to Arizona. I'm from New York state. I went into the ER with a raging fever and severe nausea, and was told that I would spend the night in the hospital. Then, after throwing up all over myself, they hurried me to an isolation room claiming I may have meningitis. The doctor eventually ordered a spinal tap, and I was begging for him not to do it as I couldnt handle any more pain. He looked me dead in the eye and said "if you dont get this test done, you are going to die". I'm 19 years old, thousands of miles from home and my family, with my son and best friend in our hotel room with no way to communicate with me, I'm scared and being told that I'm going to die if I dont get a test done.
Meningitis was ruled out and I was given a series of different medications via the IV. The medications made me painfully itchy and made my skin feel like it was burning, but the doctors didnt care. They just said it would pass.
This hospital traumatized me. I am so glad I'll never be back there. I was covered in bruises up and down my arms because the nurses couldn't not find my veins and needed to use an ultrasound machiene to find them.
Also, they spelled my name wrong, so my insurance refuses to cover the cost.
I was never told what they were treating me for, nor was I given a proper diagnosis. To this day I still dont know what illness I had.
