This is in response to Mr. Dakota Thomas' review. Upon first receiving your request to cancel, we advised you that we would require a copy of your lien release in order to send the refund directly to you, otherwise we would have to send it to your lienholder. You advised us to wait and you would send the lien release to our cancellation department. After not hearing back from you, we had to process your cancel request the best that we could and issued the check to your lienholder. You finally did contact our office after that and asked if we could stop-payment on that check and send to you if you could produce the lien release. We agreed and after receiving the lien release, we placed a stop-payment on the check and reissued directly to you. You called back a few days later to check the status of your refund and we advised that we had issued the check to you as directed. You provided us with a new mailing address at that time and again asked if we could place a stop-payment on the check issued and reissue to your current address. We agreed to do so and did finally get the check to you as requested. We regret that you feel there were unnecessary delays, however, we were just trying to accommodate you as best we could.
