Entrance may be gained through membership ( at a significant cost-benefit if you go more than once a year) or you can pay per visit (search "AVAM" online for current rates). Some exhibits are permanent; others have more limited showing ( 6 - 12 months) but all are fascinating. Plan to spend a few hours on your visit and make sure you visit all the buildings.
