Wowowow where to begin. Let me start off with the good and saving grace for this establishment. Theres an Irish Fella who is a waiter there at the restaurant and he saved the night in terms of his service to our table. Whenever there was a mistake made on part of the restaurant he quickly remedied it. There were a few mistakes such as a miscommunication in a drink order so he gave it to our table on the house and brung the correct beverage. I asked a few questions on the meat and shrimp and he gave me answers on them. I ordered a medium rare filet mignon and received a very rare steak. He took it back to the kitchen and had it reheated and replenished some items I had already eaten before hand. So I didn't catch your name bud, but you know who you are and I thank you for it. Now onward to the bad. Besides what you have read about the reheating and such, there was something about the menu that wasn't to par to my tasting. On the menu it said prawns but what I received was definitely much smaller than I was told or had assumed. The three additional prawn selection is what I'm talking about here. They were much smaller in size. I was told they would be U-10 per pound for those that don't know this is a much larger sized shrimp. What I received was 3 shrimp in the 21-25 per pound area and thats being generous. Do not get the prawns. I asked about the beef grades at 50 dollars + I would expect Prime beef. He was honest about the ribeye plate at i believe it was 54 dollars a plate being Choice grade which is not worth 54 dollars. I was then told that the filet however is Prime. So I ordered that and I believed it was 59 dollars for the plate. To my tasting I believe that the steak was not prime at all. It was not as tender and juicy as other prime steaks I have had. In fact because the steak was extremely rare, I was able to cut into the steak and look to see if there were any veins of fat in the steak. To my expectations after having a few bites, it was indeed not prime. My final word here is that, the drinks were great I especially enjoyed the Bullet Train. And the service was great (thank you Irish fella). But the food was not up to par for dishes that were 40$+ a plate.
