Veronica Diaz Review of EyeC Optometry

Not worth the time dealing with these people. They always contradict eachothers statements. Money grabbers is what you call them. Worst customer service at its best.
Normally prescription is given for 2 years but not in this optometry. My insurance allows a visit every two years for my child and they know this (I called them before hand and they mentioned this) but they provide you with a one year prescription expiration as a catch.
I recently went to this optometry to ask for my child's prescription but unfortunately they said it had expired a few months back but how could it if insurance visits are every two years. But they would happily charge the insurance again for another appointment. I can't even go anywhere else for another appointment until those two years are up. They said they could charge my insurance as emergency visit but I said no, it's not an emergency, all I needed was the prescription and my child could still see using that prescription.
Even my son left this optometry years ago and he had warned me about their service and scams but I didn't listen. I recommend people to not look twice towards this optometry and go to a different one. I've called a variety of different optometrists around the area and San Jose and they also stated their prescription is good for 2 years.
