My name is Calvin Thomas and I worked at this job as a security guard for about two weeks. While I was at this job, I had been nothing but good to this company even when the employees that trained me talked bad about this job and our boss Rendon. Rendon fired me today because he said I had a "no call, no show" for Saturday and Sunday. This is incorrect because before I was hired I let him know that my schedule was strictly Monday through Friday due to my second job and me visiting my mother in Terrell on the weekends. We also have text messages between us in which I asked him why I was scheduled on the weekend and he responded that he will find someone else to cover for me. He never got back to me so when I went in today he told another employee to fire me without even talking to me himself when I tried to get on the phone. The boss is just all around shady and a coward for not talking to me himself. If he wanted someone to work the weekends then he never should've hired me because I made my schedule very clear in the interview.
