Regular eatery of choice was closed due to a power outage. Opted for Cole's for a late evening after yoga repast. Blackened shrimp and scallops on arugula and endive over a balsamic sauce pleased half the party. The shrimp parmigiana was heavy, heavily breaded shrimp, heavily sauced and cheesed over a lost angel hair pasta base. Dessert was a key lime pie topped with a thick whipped cream. The key lime custard was perfect although the rest including the crust were wanting. Many family gatherings were spent at Cole's in the past. Mike the bartender has served customers well for decades. The AC was more than adequate on a hot and humid July late night. Daytime provides views of Great Kills harbor.
