I had been hearing about a lot of negative experiences people have had with Hoffman Audi service--I had disagreed with them until now. I bought my car new there 3 years ago and was very pleased with every maintenance service I went in for, but when it's an actual repair that needs to be done, it's a different story. Mechanics claimed to have looked at everything and I was told I was mistaken or had put things in the wrong setting when the repairs needed were visibly obvious to any layperson. In the end, the foreman did the repairs (if it were just the foreman I had dealt with, I would be very satisfied with the service) but it was an unpleasant and stressful visit for me. This experience makes me very suspicious of what is actually being serviced in the Audi Care maintenance packages I purchased. And don't get me started on their phone system...
