When I called to confirm my online registration, they said masks were mandatory however it was not enforced nor even followed by camp workers. That's just rude.

The park itself was to be expected in clean and organized as far as park amenities, although we found left over food in the fire pit we had at our camp site which was rather gross. Someone could have shoveled over it, or scooped it out but not a dealbreaker. Overall, I would likely shop around more, and earlier, but we wanted to camp for the 4th and we reserved about a week and a half before that date so openings were limited.

Edited to add that while I put mandatory in my review, I meant to say recommended. And...while I see this mistake now, the owner has called me AND texted twenty minutes later first thing Monday morning following the stay and I feel like that is a bit much. They don't even open until 9AM and called me at 7AM. Again, RUDE.

Edited again to add: the eggshells are exactly what I was talking about.. they were left there when we arrived and we even left a night early.. I hope you can get past this and just try to make sure you check the sites before others rent them.
