I've been to Joseph Anthony for both hair and spa services. I first visited Joseph Anthony at 15 years old to go from dark brown to very blonde. That stylist was amazing. I have no idea how she actually brought my hair to that shade in just one sitting. Since then I have been back multiple times with different level stylists and everything has been great. Unfortunately my last cut was not as great. The level 3 stylist was juggling both myself and another client who was waiting for her dye to set. She would be mid cutting my hair, look at the time, and then run back to the other client while I sat there. I do get that double booking has to happen at times to make the stylist get in as many clients as possible, but when it impacts the customer experience it's disappointing.
My Spa experience was also not stellar. I got a facial and the entire time the specialist was pushing me to buy products. I was not able to fully enjoy and relax in the moment because I was constantly being asked about buying products.
