It's not adieu, just aurevoir to Ambonnany as David places stewardship of Portland's finest champagne bar into a safe pair of hands after 8 years. Those of us who have whiled away many an evening here, benefiting from his unparalleled knowledge and focus, will miss our weekly flights, extraordinary tastings and convivial company.
