I've tried to bite my tongue however I'm super frustrated by the end result of my move from July 2020 and I tried discussing with Pro-Movers directly before I move to another forum however I received a giant f-off essentially from a secret manager named Sam A who refused to give me the full name, company ID, or management/ownership information. First and foremost, my fridge which was moved and not reassembled is essentially worthless. I tried to plug in the fridge after the move was completed however it was not reassembled properly and thus would not cool. I was told by Sam A that they "do not assemble or disassemble" so I guess my fridge was just disassembled by itself during the move. So I pay to have it moved and now I have to pay to have it hauled away, and then I have to pay to get a new one. What is the point of hiring movers? Generally the movers were ok however it's terribly apparent to me that they work by the hour so breaks happen frequently and several items were left which I had to move later. I'm of the opinion that spending over $2,000 I should be able to simply walk into the new house, within reason, and items would be at least put together within reason. For $2,000 I shouldn't have to come back the next weekend and continue to move items which I requested be taken (ie a bbq grill, 2 rugs, desk chair). I should not be staying up until midnight trying to put my bed together so I can have somewhere to sleep. Additionally for $2000 when I reach out to discuss an issue with my move I don't believe I deserve a Manager named Sam A to tell me "I signed a contract and paid for the job, meaning I was happy and satisfied". Its amazing being told how I'm feeling about a job! Final frustration, I was asked to go back to the other house for their forgotten tools and even to get them lunch! I did not ask for a refund, I asked Pro-Movers to respond and rectify the situation but again was just given attitude.
