Much cooler than the history books make it seem like. John Brown's Raid is the main thing, but there is a lot more there than that. Like the fact that: Meriwether Lewis stopped here before his famed westward trip, there was a civil war battle fought there, and that Thomas Jefferson touted the area for its natural beauty. Loved it!
