My husband & I (& dog, Ryder) were recommended this restaurant on our recent trip to Chicago when we asked for a place close to our hotel in the Loop. We had flown in that afternoon (Ryder s first flight) & we wanted a place that was in an area that was walkable, close to sites we could visit & had an outdoor patio where Ryder would be welcomed. The Gage did not disappoint! The atmosphere was friendly, across the street from the Millennium Park & the food was delicious! I had fish & chips & my husband the burger- both so, so good! We are kind of picky b/c we cook & eat at home most of the time since it s hard to find good American fare that s well made with good ingredients. Great place to eat & relax! We will return on our next Chicago visit!
