If there was a way to post negative stars, it would be more fitting then the one I am required to give. I received a letter from this company last year.Because I would like to get out of default and repair my credit, I gave them a call.Spoke with rep who got my info and told me that my payment would be $211. Since that was cheaper than the $400+ payments I had been quoted before, I agreed and supplied my banking info.Once they received my check stubs, my payment went up to over $400.I called back, gave info again, and was given a payment amount of $257.I set up bi-weekly payments for that amount.I started getting alerts from Credit Karma and letters from US Dept of Ed about missed payments. This is every month! I call FH Cann back again. This time I m told that since I m only paying $257 they are basically taking almost 2 months of payments to make one $400 payment. I submit financial disclosure form and proof of income for my spouse and me. I still don t understand why my payment is so high based on our take home pay so I call them again. This is when I learn that take home pay is not just what I bring home but any voluntary deductions, like 401k, as well which almost doubled our monthly income! I was sent Financial Disclosure form to adjust expenses and resubmit. I did this and sent it back since rep told me that if I got it back quickly the pay stubs (within 90 days) would still be good. When I called to check on status of recalculations, I was told that my payment amount was still $400+ which didn t make any sense since my expenses had increased by $2000. I kept a copy of the disclosure form that I sent and went over it with the rep. Someone miskeyed one of my expenses as $100 instead of $1000! Rep apologized and corrected it. Told me that my new payment would be $136. Because I read some other reviews on here, I asked to have my banking info removed. Rep told me that it was and my payments would be postponed until he could send my paperwork up the chain for review. No payment came out of my account but I also still had not received the letter with new payment amount that would actually qualify my payments for rehab program. I checked my account yesterday, and a payment of $2,441.50 had been drafted from my account. Attempted anyway because I didn t have it which resulted in a $30 NSF from my credit union.I called again and spoke with a lady who genuinely seemed concerned and just as confused as I was as to why that happened. While looking over my account, she noticed that my calculations still had not been done because when I made corrections on the Financial Disclosure form I failed to initial the total...not the corrected expenses just the total!!She entered my new expenses and emailed the form for me to sign. I faxed it back today, and called to verify receipt of the fax. I was then informed that now I have to submit a new pay stub for my husband because I have gone past the 90 days which will result in a new income calculation that I will have to call and follow up on just like I have with everything I ve done with this company so far. There is no hesitation drafting money from my account, but all manner of slowness with everything else. I am beyond frustrated and the condescending manner in which I was spoken to didn t help.I know I m in default by no fault, but I am trying to take care of this. It would really help if the company that I dealt with showed some professionalism and respect for me as a customer.
