Review of Kosmic Sound

So....today I started my search for my first drum ...

So....today I started my search for my first drum kit, acoustic, had to be pink....
I was very much expecting to have to run around 3 or 4 stores to find what I wanted and then probably have to order it in so endure a wait etc.
I had questions, & knew I was going to need help as I'm an absolute rookie!!
I walked in the doors of Kosmic in Osborne Park, and there it was!! Pink, sparkling & ready for me to purchase!! The planets really were lining up for a change!!!
I then had 'Ric' whizz by & let me know if I needed help he was just at the counter, so after perusing the wares, I went & grabbed Ric & explained what I was after & asked all my questions!!
Ric Whittle was fantastic!! The simple knowledge, experience & tips he shared after many many years of drumming & being involved in music was outstanding, without overwhelming a beginner!!
He was able to answer my questions and there was absolutely no sale pressure involved!
Had an awesome chat about the Perth music scene including the scene in the 70s/80s which was really nice
Needless to say I'm now the proud owner of said drum kit + extras and the kit turned out to be cheaper than stated on the price tag! Bonus!
I will definitely be going back to the shop for my extras & to pick Ric's brains if I need assistance with my learning!!
