If you too are looking around for a plumber, have a read of my experience here: We had a long term blockage causing our sink and dishwasher to overflow outside the kitchen and onto the grass, and even sometimes backing up to the sink. The wife and I tried pouring drain cleaner, plunging, hose blasting and even feeding yellow-tongue down the gully without joy. I'd never hired a plumber before so I didn't know what to expect. Of course Google knew I needed a plumber before I did and I started seeing ads for Curran Plumbing online! It was when I pulled up beside a Curran vehicle at the lights, the decision was cemented! I sent them an email asking how things worked. Rachel promptly replied. I called her up and booked a plumber. They promised a plumber would be there midday the next day. Cool. That morning, Rachel called me and said they could get someone out even earlier. Magic! Josh arrived another 10 minutes earlier than that again! Professional approach with all the kit. Inspected our setup and provided a few quote options. I'll be honest, the prices were a little higher than I was expecting, but again, I had never hired a plumber before, so I had nothing to go off. Once he got to work, I could see exactly where the costs were involved. Josh patiently explained how he would attack the problem and got to work. The poor bloke earned his bickies fixing our stubborn plumbing, but he got there. Plunged, then jettered the blockage away. Ran the camera through and confirmed no further issues. Provided mobile EFTPOS payment and went on his way. It is refreshing to deal with a company that appreciates how important communication is throughout the lifecycle of the job. Especially for customers who've never done this before. So thankyou to Rachel and Josh for looking after us - more than happy to recommend. I wish I could've shaken his hand (damn COVID19!).
