I've been to paperland 6 times but the last was certainly my worst experience in terms of service.

I called in advance to let them know I wanted to laser cut the following day and they said ok they might be busy (which was fine I was willing to take that chance.) What they failed to tell me was that their laser cutting machine was not working. (Or as they called
it "wasn't cutting properly" - which to me means not working)

I travelled 1hr and 30mins to get there and waited one hour as I was told the laser cutter needed "30 mins to set up". At this point I still wasn't told that the machine wasn't working properly until one hour passed and I asked for an update because it was taking unusually long. And this is when I was told "oh it's not working".

She took 10mins to come back and give me an update and said "well it's not working what can we do you just have to wait".

So I waited patiently, getting angrier by the minute and just as 1pm hit which is their closing time the person serving me decides to at last grace me with their presence to finally tell me (after 2hrs of waiting) that it cannot do what it needs to do (in other words it's not working).

So in summary, paperland wasted both my time and my money. I wasted money commuting, and I wasted 6hrs and 30mins which would not have been wasted if *drumroll* wait for it...if they had just told me that the machine was not working.

What was most upsetting about the situation was not that it wasn't working but the fact that no one was apologetic. Not one person. And as I stood and spoke to one of the Paperland workers saying that I should have been informed about this (as I did call the day before). I received bad attitude and bad body language. Keep in mind that they are offering me a service.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never been so angry and the level of disrespect and rudeness was baffling.
