We popped by for my birthday not a planed day out. it s was a lovely afternoon and really nice, we went in the week so wasn t to busy but there where school trips taking place. We just walked the opposite way and enjoyed it at our own pace. Load of places to sit and chill with a picnic but the food on offer there was over priced and not grate, we just found a pub once we finished. Wheel chair friendly and lots of benches to sit down and rest if you need to, it took us about 3 hours to stole round and enjoy everything. the entry price was fair and parking was easy just a to minute walk to the entrance, parking you could pay contactless, card or cash no problems. If your older I would go mid week in school time to avoid a mad rush as some parts are small, but if you have kids then any time would be nice in the summer to make a day of it. Lots of kids things to do and keep them entertained same for big kids like me.
