Went to Victoria for a weekend getaway and got a room here last minute at a great price for the value of what we got. Our room was the city view looking out at the harbour and it was great. Location of the hotel is in a prime area, right across from the Empress and right beside the Parliament Hill building. Another pro is if you take the shuttle from downtown it stops and picks up guests from the hotel.

I mentioned that it was my boyfriend's birthday during our stay when I called in to make a reservation. When we checked in he got a nice birthday card and a complimentary dessert at the restaurant. This small act really started our trip on a positive note.

The rooms are extremely clean and loved waking up to the view and a Globe and Mail newspaper. You have to put the pillows at the base of your bed to indicate you'd like new sheets. All in all, great place to stay in Victoria and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Hotel Grand Pacific to my friends.
